Hello, all!

Today has been a very busy day! I had an interview with a news reporter, as well as a book talk at a local cafe.

I'm actually having a hard time believing it.

All my life, I had always hoped someone would notice my book once I got it published. That someone would think it was a good enough story or it seemed interesting enough to brag about it to everyone. Well... this interview just took it up a notch.

It wa...

A lot has changed recently in the realms of Maxina Storibrook. New books, fairs, book talks and signings, conventions, moving, and more...

My first beta reader finished the book and loved it! I have completed over 100 pages of the edits now, and have already given the first half of my book to my second round of beta readers; I hope to be finished with this round by the end of the month!

Usually, it's only 50,000 words (which is the official goal of the event). I'm almost to 100,000 words, too! I'm quite excited.

I completely finished the first draft of Danarko on...

It's hard knowing when your characters are going to die and you can't do anything about it. It's hard knowing things about your characters - secrets that only they themselves know - that no one else may ever find out about. It's hard dealing with a character that repeatedly dies over and over and over, again and again, with no one who can possibly understand everything she is going through.

It's hard deali...

Here's a short little blurb on what I've been up to lately and why I've been so inactive...

I'm moving.

Drastic. Yeah, I know. Sudden. Yeah, I know. Exciting, too, though! However, it's really made a few things very apparent to me... I don't multitask well. Now that I've taken a break from school, I have no motivation to write my own stuff, probably because I'm writing inside the class so much! Haha!

However, I do li...
